These terms cover your use of BumpBash, whether you're hosting a shower or joining one as a guest. By using BumpBash, you agree to them.

What BumpBash is

BumpBash is a web app for running baby shower games. Hosts create an event and choose games; guests join by scanning a QR code or opening a link, no account required.

The service is provided as-is

We work hard to keep BumpBash reliable, especially during a live event, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. BumpBash is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. If something breaks during your shower, email us — we take that seriously, but we can't promise perfection.

Hosting an event

If you create an event, you're the host, and you're responsible for the content you add — game questions, photos, and any information about your event or guests. You're also responsible for how you share your event's QR code or link; anyone with it can join, so share it only with people you actually want at your shower.

Joining an event

If you join someone else's event as a guest, the information you submit — your name, your answers, any photo you upload — is visible to the host and, depending on the game, to other guests. Don't upload a photo or write anything you wouldn't want shared with the group.

Content ownership

Hosts own the content of their own event: the questions they write, the wishes and photos their guests contribute, and the resulting keepsake. We don't claim ownership of anything you or your guests create. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use any photo or content you upload.

Acceptable use

Don't use BumpBash to upload content that's illegal, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights. Don't try to disrupt the service, access another host's event without permission, or use BumpBash for anything other than running or joining a baby shower or similar celebration. We can suspend or remove access for accounts or events that violate this.

Payment and refunds

Party Pack and Full Shower are one-time purchases tied to a single event. If something isn't working as expected or you're unhappy with a purchase, email us at hello@bumpbash.com before your event and we'll sort it out — refund requests are handled case by case, and we lean toward making it right.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BumpBash isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a game malfunctioning during your event. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
